Mr. Manas Kumar Satpathy

Mr Manas Kumar Satpathy brings over three decades of experience in rural development, sustainable livelihoods, institution building and climate action. He has held key leadership roles at PRADAN, including Executive Director (2012–2017) and Integrator (2017–2026), providing strategic direction to initiatives advancing rural livelihoods, women’s empowerment, poverty reduction and climate resilience.

He has played a pivotal role in strengthening institutions, forging strategic partnerships and fostering innovation, learning and organizational excellence in the development sector. His deep engagement with rural and tribal communities, along with development organizations, has shaped a practical and inclusive approach to sustainable development.

Currently, as an Independent Advisor and Mentor, he supports organizations and practitioners in climate resilience, natural resource management, local enterprise development, organizational strategy, leadership development and knowledge management.
