Dr. Kajri Misra

Dr. Kajri Misra has over three decades of wide-ranging academic and professional experience spanning architecture, environmental planning, rural management and urban management, and has been long involved in development education, research, and institutional leadership. She has been associated with XIMB and then XIM University, Bhubaneswar since 2011, serving as the Dean of the Xavier School of Rural Management from July 2013-19 and thereafter as the Dean of the University’s School of Human Settlements.

Before joining XIMB, Dr. Misra served at the Institute of Rural Management Anand, after completing her doctoral studies at Cornell University. Her earlier career includes positions at the National Tree Growers Cooperative Federation, Anand; the Institute of Environmental Design, Vallabh Vidyanagar, and the College of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar.

With her extensive experience in rural management, institutional development, education and research, Dr. Misra brings valuable academic and strategic perspectives to Harsha Trust’s work towards inclusive and sustainable rural development.
